Please join Mississippi Valley Conservancy outdoors for one of our many “Linked to the Land”or "Seasons in the Coulee" events throughout the year and join us at our annual fundraiser in the autumn. 

MVC offers guided nature hikes on our preserves, snowshoe outings, guided bird watching, sunset hikes, and stargazing events with big telescopes—all FREE!

Saturday, April 15th, 10:00 am.

Join us to celebrate spring and Earth month as we hike to the top of Miller Bluff of the La Crosse Blufflands north tract.  We will take the single track trail to the top and out to the prairie where we will take in the views of the river valley.  For those that want a shorter, flatter hike, you can start from the top at the end of Rim of City road beginning at 10:30 a.m.


From bottom:  Take Hwy 16 to Bluff Pass road turn right on to Bluff Pass and then park on Milson court.


From top:  Take Bliss road up past the Alpine Inn.  Turn left on FA and follow FA for 1.5 miles and turn left on Rim of City road and follow to the deadend.
