The task of managing and restoring thousands of acres of land is huge, but many hands make light work.
Mississippi Valley Conservancy’s volunteers help perform important ecological restoration work, office tasks, and provide guidance through our board of directors. Our volunteers accomplish land protection that otherwise would not happen, and they leave a lasting legacy for people today and for future generations.
Please join MVC outdoors or in the office. You can make an important and lasting contribution to MVC’s conservation mission by sharing your time and talents—precious resources that MVC needs!
Field workdays encompass tasks like seed collection, brush removal, pulling invasive plant species, sign posting, etc. If outdoor physical labor isn’t your thing or if you prefer using computers to chain saws, there are other opportunities to help out. Either way, please contact Mississippi Valley Conservancy's Office Manager Nancy Larson to learn more about how you can get involved and protect the best our natural landscape has to offer!
