Trail Trek Challenge
The Challenge is ON! The second annual Trail Trek Challenge is a discovery hike and fundraising event for Mississippi Valley Conservancy.
VENUE CHANGE: Due to a fire at Stoney Creek Hotel, our venue for this event has changed. The new location is the Gundersen Onalaska Clinic – lower level entrance on back side of building (3111 Gundersen Drive, Onalaska). It's right next door to the original venue.
Sunday, June 10 will be an adventurous day of trail exploration and treasure hunting where teams compete to raise money for our mission—protecting forests, prairies, wetlands, streams and farms that enrich our communities for the health and well-being of current and future generations.
On event day, teams made up of family, friends, and co-workers hike three trails (different for each team!) to complete their passports. Trail Ambassadors provide hikers with clues to finding the natural treasures on each trail. Special awards go to the three teams that raise the most funds. Lunch will be provided, along with prizes, goodies, music, and entertainment. Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m. and awards will be presented at 12:30 p.m.
How to register
Registration is $15 per adult and $10 per youth (16 and under). Children 5 and under can join for free without registering. The fee includes a Trail Trek Challenge commemorative bandana, pin, and lunch. Teams can consist of up to 10 members. Each team must assign a team captain to head up the fundraising prior to the event.
