Valentine's Snowshoe Hike

February 15, 2020
10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Location
La Crosse River Conservancy at Stoney Creek Hotel & Conference Center

Join us for a Valentine's snowshoe hike at the La Crosse River Conservancy with your family and friends! We'll explore winter habitats and look for wildlife tracks. Sign up soon to reserve snowshoes in the right size for you. If there's no snow, we'll still enjoy a great winter hike.

We'll meet up at the trailhead kiosk on the west end of Stoney Creek Hotel. You'll see it just before the hotel as you arrive. Free parking is available at the hotel and at the Gundersen Clinic parking ramp just beyond the hotel.

After the hike, our partners at Stoney Creek have invited all participants to warm up and enjoy a deluxe hot chocolate bar they'll have set up in their Lumber Jack Saloon. It's a big cozy lounge with a fireplace and a pool table – fun for all ages. Beverages and pizza will also be available for those who want to purchase them.

ARRIVE EARLY:
Plan to arrive at 9:45 to allow for time to park and get your snowshoes. We'll plan to send out several groups so people don't have to stand around and wait for everyone to get their snowshoes on..

WHAT TO BRING:
Dress warmly and wear snow boots or hiking boots. Bring your own snowshoes if you have them. Bring hiking poles if you have them (optional).

Registration CLOSED

We're out of snowshoes, but you're welcome to show up with your own snowshoes on Saturday. No need to register for that at this point in time. If you're not already registered, you may be asked to sign in at the event so we can get final attendance numbers and send you information about future events.
