prairie restoration

Join our crew on February 7, 8, 14, and/or 15 for more cedar clearing and and burn piles in the restoration of the prairies at Sugar Creek Bluff. The views can't be beat, and the smell of burning cedar is fantastic. It means the prairies are being restored as nature intended.

We'll bring the hot dogs and s'mores for volunteers to roast over the burn pile when we wrap up for the day!

Let us know if you can be there. Just call or email restoration coordinator Genesis at 608-784-3606 x6 or [email protected]. Be sure to include your full name, email, phone number, and which day(s) you want to volunteer.
