Seasons in the Coulee Region

A series of seasonal outdoor activities

Seasons in the Coulee Region is a series of four guided outdoor activities that celebrate each of the four beautiful and distinct seasons we experience in Wisconsin's Driftless Area. We offer a winter snowshoe hike, as well as walks and hikes in the spring, summer and fall. These events include new learning experiences each year. Past walks have included activities such as yoga and relaxation on scenic overlooks and learning how to snowshoe and identify wildlife tracks! These events are free and open to participants of all ages.

Thanks to member support, Mississippi Valley Conservancy protects more than 4,000 acres of natural land that is available for public education and recreation! Getting out in nature is tremendous for the health of your mind and body. Participating in our walks and hikes is additionally a good way to connect with others while learning about the many wonderful reasons for conserving land, water, wildlife, and farmland.

Some of the ways you can get involved with Mississippi Valley Conservancy are to become a volunteer, sign up for our newsletters, participate in our hikes, become a member, or enjoy any of our public Nature Preserves on your own or as a participant in the Trail Trek Challenge. We hope to see you out there!
